Starbucks tumblers and friends...

Met up with Roy the other night for coffee. He was leaving for a training abroad and we decided to get-together to do a little catching up. It was really nice because he made the trip to Makati, even if he was already at home in Paranaque.

We met up at Starbucks 6750 and just talked about stuff for a couple of hours. I haven't seen the guy for the longest time, so I was really happy to see him. Got to exchange ideas, insights on turning 30, relationships, the past, the present and the future. Hahaha! Really, really enjoyable. Have a safe trip, Roy. Thanks for making time to see me. See you when you get back.

On the side... check out his cool Starbucks tumbler. Can you guess which one is disposable and which one is reusable? I want one. Really.

A little more, when you think about it, people we call "friends" can be classified either as the left tumbler or the right tumbler. One would tell you that you're a friend, but at the darkest hour would drop you like a hot cappuccino placed stupidly on a plastic cup. The other one would be the Starbucks tumbler. That friend appears to be just like all your other friends, but he/she stands out when you need some comfort because you can rely on him/her to provide you with it when needed... just like that iced latte. Haha!
