Stopping to see the Makati skyline...
I was on my way to meet a friend and as usual, I was in a hurry again to get to our meeting place.
Since I was in Makati and the venue for the meetup is in QC, I thought it was best to just take the MRT.
We were supposed to meet at 7. The time on my watch told me it was already 6:35.
I was already on my way to the platform, when the Makati skyline against the vanishing daylight caught my attention. I've passed by this kind of scenery a million times, but it was only now that I really stopped to look at it.
There was something about the color of the sky that stopped me from my hurried walking. I had to take out Hanschen and capture the moment. I played with the settings a bit, and the images above are the result.
Nice, huh?!
Anyway, I was telling some friends a couple of days ago my realization that I always seem to be in a hurry. I walk too fast. I rarely look up or around me. There were several moments when I really had to tell myself to slow down because there's no need to hurry.
Weird, huh? I don't know. I just got so used to moving from point A to point B very quickly.
The downside of it is that I don't get to "stop and smell the roses." Hehe! So, lately I've been trying to do just that. I've been trying to tell myself to be more relaxed and just be.
It seems to be working. Otherwise, I would've missed the nice view like the one above. Hehe!
